About me

Hello! I'm Tianyi Zhang, currently navigating the rich tapestry of Computer Science in Vancouver. My educational journey, spanning from University of California San Diego to Northeastern University, has imbued in me a respect for both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice. While I have a keen interest in networking, virtualization, and cloud systems, I always remind myself that there's so much more to learn. I'm continually inspired by the vast possibilities in the realm of Site Reliability, IT, and Automation Engineering.

During my academic and professional stints, I've had the privilege of working on several projects that have honed my skills and widened my perspective. One such endeavor is my Personal Private Cloud Infrastructure project, where I combined Raspberry Pi with the Proxmox hypervisor, enhancing online privacy and content sharing. Another venture, the Collaborative Spreadsheet for Teaching, showcases my dedication to merging tech with practical solutions. These experiences, while humbling, fuel my aspiration to contribute meaningfully to the world of technology.
